WELL is looking for energetic students to take up the challenge of planning and driving the case competition WELLcontest 2007 on a voluntary basis. In 2006, there were seven teams from all over Scandinavia participating in the weeklong event. In 2007, the plan is to run the event at a European level! The contest will take place in April next year, but the preparatory will start in September.
We offer:
a great opportunity to gain experience in the fields of communication and research, to develop your organisational skills and to broaden your network. In short, WELLcontest 2007 offers you a playground where you can develop your skills and professional profile while having fun with fellow students.
There are a wide number of tasks to be carried out by the WELLcontest 2007 project group and the idea is that everyone involved should have the possibility of influencing the overall planning process of this big event. We will be a small team of no more than ten organisers. The tasks to be carried out include:
- Finding sponsor opportunities and maintaining relations with partners.
- Promoting the event.
- Writing the case used in the competition (most likely in collaboration with the sponsor company and academic personnel at CBS).
- Recruiting and communicating with the participating teams at leading European business schools.
We expect:
that you are outgoing and easygoing. You have been studying for a couple of years and now wish to use your competencies in a practical context. Depending on the task(s) you wish to get involved in, you should be willing to invest between 3 and 5 hours on a weekly basis up until the case competition takes place. Finally a wish to work with and learn more about CSR is essential.
Send us an application of approx. one page mentioning your relevant competencies and professional experience. The application should be sent by mail to
hanne@wellweb.org.
