Ethical Fashion Seminars

|
With two seminars on Ethical Fashion we want to provide a forum for learning and discussion. The hope is that we with the invited speakers and a broad audience can create a debate about what ethical fashion is, where it is going and what outcome different actors from academia, business and NGOs can expect to see. In both seminars all speakers will have a confined time for presenting their viewpoints followed by a general debate session in the end. Associate Professor Lise Skov, from Department of Intercultural Communication and Management is moderator.
Seminar 1: BUSINESS CASES, STRATEGIES AND BRANDING IN ETHICAL FASHION
What constitutes ethical fashion? What are the motives behind establishing a fashion company where profit is not the only goal? Is green really the new black?
The seminar will provide some interesting real-life cases on ethical fashion – from the small upstart company, Anando & Skyum, to the big player, IC Companys. Morevover, Rasmus Bech Hansen from the branding company, Kontrapunkt, will speak about truth, lies, branding and CSR.
